Hello, I am a 20 year old Brazilian with 10+ years of formal and informal training in both in American english and Brazilian portuguese. Over the years, I have taken and finished english courses both in my country and in the U.S., translated dozens of texts ranging from internet posts to college articles and served as oral translator and assistant in many trips to the U.S. as well as phone calls. Since very young, I have taken an interest in the english language, at first due to personal liking and then as a mean to grow both professionally and intellectually. I access both American and Brazilian medias daily, so I am fully aware of most common slangs, words, trends and terms currently in use in both countries. Furthermore, I am exceptionally skilled in writing and reading per se, as it is part of my daily job as a student to read and write formal texts, mainly in the ABNT format.
