How to...Make Digital Stamp Mock-Ups with GIMP. I wrote and produced this ebook for digital stamp makers, showing them how they can use GIMP to produce realistic looking examples of their products in actual use. I had had several years of writing graphics software reviews and tutorials before this book, but this was my first experience of producing an ebook, covering the most popular formats of PDF, EPUB and Mobi. I had initially planned to produce the book using Indesign, but while I would probably still choose that route for a digital magazine with a fixed layout, I discovered a workflow based on LibreOffice, plus Sigil and Kindlegen felt best suited to the production process in this case.
About Me
I work from my home of 10 years, north of Seville in Spain, splitting my time between design/development and writing. I'm a strong all-rounder who came from a graphic design for print background, but now spends most time producing for the web.
