Mucha Remake: Dance

This is a "remake" of Mucha's classic "Dance." I've always loved Mucha's work, but didn't really care for the colors he used. Also wanted to modernize the figure to a more recent ideal, without being unrealistic. Done in watercolor and watercolor pencil, 11x17".

I am an illustrator/artist and I'm close to finishing my MFA in Illustration from Academy of Art University of San Francisco. I've been an artist for about 9 years now. I'm pretty flexible and I have a good turnaround time. I also have a BA in English/Creative Writing from Creighton University (Cum Laude). I focused on fiction writing and editorial proofreading.
