Role Developer Description eMedical is web-enabled system, which can be used to handle/process the complaint reported against medical product. It is a multi-tier system. eMedical Application server acts as middle tier, as it takes requests from one or more clients and it is also responsible for talking to Databases (via JDBC bridge) for processing of data. Data is transferred between client and server as XML format. Client and Server communication is done using HTTP and RMI. User Interfaces is done using HTML documents. Each module will have association with its server Service provider at server side. The main supporting feature are in this project web enabled, database customization, form customization, report customization in which user can customize these features according to his/her wish, he/she can add new form in the case data entry module, new columns in the tables, new reports. Responsibility · Involved in implementation of COM components for contact, company, server monitor, and system parameters modules. · Designing user interface using HTML for the above-mentioned modules. · Integrated the Crystal Report8.5 in the system. The internal staff of a company uses this s/w. It maintains full audit trail for a bug reported such as when reported, who reported, to whom assigned, taken actions, documents & history etc. There are different modules in this project such as bug data entry that contains information put by person reported, administration that contains user maintenance, code list maintenance, task maintenance, role maintenance etc., reports that contains different types of reports such as bar chart, pie chart for the s/w, user options that contains change password. The main supporting feature are in this project user can see history of the bug reported, version specification. Responsibility Designing the database on the basis eMedical can be configured as a Bug Tracking System, GUI forms, code lists, crystal reports, testing for s/w and writing documents for these modules. ============================== 5. We have extracted information from existing Arisg database and created our own database and on the basis of this database we prepared reports using Crystal Reports 8.5. Duration 3 months Technologies C / C++ Role Developer Description This project was developed for Earthquake Engineering Dept. University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) in which earthquake data were plotted on the map of India and its close vicinities during the period 1505 A.D. to 1998 A.D. The data for this project was obtained from Indian Meteorological Department, New Delhi. It was possible to filter the data on various fields such as date, magnitude, latitude, longitude, and depth and see the location of earthquakes on the map for the resulting data.
