I have over a decade of professional graphic design experience. During this time I have worked full time for a large corporation, I have been the graphic designer for a government agency, and have completed many freelance projects. I have a wide range of graphic design skills. The types of design I have done over the years includes: logos, posters, brochures, and other published hard copy print materials, and I am competent with both web image and site design. I have often been tasked with having to not only meet but to exceed critical time lines, and to produce work that meets the interests of business as well as for public consumption. My skills are a blended competency of the Adobe Creative Suite series of programs which includes: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, and InDesign at the core, as well as other graphics programs in the areas of printing/publishing/web design. My web skills are enhanced by a working knowledge and implementation of CSS, and HTML, plus file/server management/archival experience. I am comfortable working in cross platform environments (PC/MAC), as well as Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, I am also a recent graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in graphic design. In summary, my skills as a graphic designer and academic training as an imaginative artist bring together a lot of creative expertise.
