About Me
I am of Jamaican parentage and was born in the UK in the early 1960's. I have received all my schooling, further and higher education in England and my working life up until August 2011. It is at this point that I moved with my husband to Jamaica for a more subdued lifestyle. As a consequence, I am looking to keep myself busy but not to be overburdened. I am the type of character that must always be active. I enjoy a wide range of activities and my skills vary from the practical to the academic. I am a lecturer in Business by profession and after 5 years of teaching was rapidly promoted to Head of School (department) for a thriving College in South London. I managed a growing department of varying qualifications and was responsible for just over 30 staff. I thoroughly enjoy seeing a project completed and get frustrated when things are not presented well. The UK is my birth home and I was born in the quaint town called Stroud in Gloucestershire. I moved to Jamaica with my husband August 2010 and this is such a lovely place to Freelance - just perfect!
