As part of my last IT exam in the 6th year of highschool I did an internship at Dutch company IGO were I had to develop a scalable online content-management system for a group of day care facilities. The CMS allowed both users and daycare employees to manage their information, children and other data like images, documents and financial data under a tight group policy system. Furthermore this CMS is the first one in Belgium that allows parents to see whether their children are currently in daycare, and uses QR code child verification. All of this was designed by myself and several other students using PHP, MySQL and some C# tooling in the back-end. The project recently got approved and will be used by over 200 parents/employees in the course of Autum 2012.
