Mr. Nokhbeh-Zaeem is a data scientist and software developer with over 6 years of experience in machine learning, software design and development in the field of deep learning, explainable artificial intelligence and big data using a variety of technologies and languages such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Python, C++, and C. He has been involved in development of machine learning models for a wide range of applications including recommender systems, interpretable predictive analytics, and audio classification.
During his recent master's in computer science, he worked on interpretability of machine learning (specifically deep learning) and he has acquired considerable skills in natural language processing, computer vision and big data. In 2019, he won Vector Institute scholarships in AI. Only two students from Carleton University won that scholarship. During his master’s he did two MITACS internships with Global IQX Inc in Ottawa.
