This is a working remote control model of the triPod, created in Inventor and rendered in Showcase. It was designed as to be easily made using a CNC router to cut out the plywood profiles, and laser cutter to produce thin ply hull pieces.

[login to view URL] I am looking to start a career in Design Engineering. I am largely self taught and design in my spare time due to my current job as Technology Technician. I have experience using ProDesktop, ProEngineer, and AutoCAD, but since discovering Autodesk Inventor in the summer of 2011 I feel I have found my career path. I have extensive experience in woodwork, both fine cabinet making and woodturning. Through my current job I have experience with working with metals such as forge work, castin g, turning, milling and welding. This experience I feel gives me a good understanding of how projects should go together, giving my designs a very practical feel with ease of production considered from the outset.
