My biggest challenge till now was building GpsCam.nl, a mobile "webcam" solution for streaming live content from ships while they are sailing. The cams are a one-package solution, they only need some kind of mains to power them. If wanted, there is a normal ethernet connection available to re-use the mobile internet connection embedded in the cam. The video streams coming from the cams are transferred through a vpn to the main server, where Wowza together with ffmpeg create multiple format streams to publish on a webpage accessible by all types of devices.
