This project involved developing a Ruby on Rails web application farmers in india can sell there goods online through bidding platform. My responsibilities: - Advising the client on selecting which technology stack to be used - Developing the entire Ruby on Rails backend with elastic search & redis server - Coding the frontend UI while receiving feedback and guidance from the client Technology stack used: - Ruby on Rails - PostgreSQL - Bootstrap - Elasticsearch - Redis We used the Scrum Agile methodology to organize our efforts during this 6-month project. The initial production release was completed after 2 months, and the succeeding 4 months were spent refining the product and releasing subsequent iterations. http://139.59.238.44/
