Duration : September 2005 – February 2006 Role : Designing Authentication and Unloading driver modules in USB Device Driver Platform : WINDOWS XP Environment : C Team Size : 4 Description : This project is being developed to authenticate a user or a group of users to access a device (portable USB mass storage) through an USB interface. The driver is designed in such a way that the finger print information of the user is processed by using a finger print sensor and then the communication is done between the user and the device. During the unloading process of driver user is given a switch/button which allows him to unload the driver which helps in safe usage of the device. Project #2: “Intrusion Detection (Honey Pot Architecture)” Operating System : LINUX. Programming Language : C Duration : February 2005- May 2005 Team Size : 4 Role : Designing Proxy Host and part of Honey Pot system. Description : This system is basically built to analyze unknown attacks and log these activities, so that these information will be used when building Intrusion Prevention system Project #3: “Filter System for Firewall” Operating System : LINUX.
