The process was highly manual, data entry intensive and time-consuming. • Input JE volume is non-uniform across a month • Peak MEC volume is 30 times the non-MEC volume • Unstructured data input owing to regional nuances of MJE Preparation • Highly error prone manual process with lot of dependency on resources Solution DigiPrompt’s agile RPA execution methodology (PSDTR framework) employed to automate this process while leveraging digital capabilities of existing ERP and workflow systems. • The JE bot logs into the client environment and opens up outlook. • Standard JE template framed covering regional variations arrives in the mailbox and is picked by the bot. • Bot performs various validations on the data in template and then logs into the ERP for JE creation / posting. • The journal entry is submitted in finance system
