People living in the country side of Sweden are depended on cars in order to go back and forth to their job, to go to the store for shopping etc. For a family with children it is often not enough with one car but you most commonly need two. A lot of cars with just one driver can be seen on the roads and it is often a hassle to organize co driving. On the country side the busses doesn't goes very often and it can be hard to fit the bus schedule with you personal timing. For small villages it is also often far to the nearest bus stop. To have a car cost quite a lot of money and it also effects the environment in a bad way. Neighbors are often positive to travel together but the problem is that it takes time to find out which ones that have drives on times that suite yours.
