I took in calls for AT&T DSL as a Technical Support Specialist. We receive calls from customers complaining about their service and seeking for a solution to satisfy their needs when it comes to their internet connection. We deal with customers with enthusiasm and professionalism to identify the main/root cause of their problem and assist them to perform all the necessary steps to come up with the solution. Our troubleshooting steps also require remote access to help customers resolve their intermittent, slow and even security issues. We use TEAMVIEWER or LOG-ME-IN.COM to perform the mentioned task faster and more efficient. On this project we just don't act as a pure technical support but we also have to be good customer service because customers are entitled to conduct a survey for the agents that they spoke with. I was part of MSN technical support department. We assist customers regarding their email concerns on the web or using an email client or 3rd party software that they can install on their computer to easily access their email. Originally, customers' email are found on the website where they can login. But we give them options where they can access their mails easily. I was working with Qwest at the same time with MSN for one company. Customers can call about both products. Because originally all customers that we have subscribe with Qwest to have an internet connection and their subscription are bundled with a premium account under MSN email. Our job for Qwest entails troubleshooting customers' concern about their internet connectivity and computers. We also assist them if they have multiple computers for networking.

I was with this project as a Technical Support Representative. We specialize with helping customers regarding helping customers to fix their internet connectivity from hardware to software. We were also trained to perform UP-SELLING before we end each and every call except if the call was unresolved or customer asked for a supervisor. After a few months of staying with the account, I stepped up as a Level 2 Support. My job description changed to taking in supervisory calls, assisting other agents regarding their calls to provide a better solution for their customers, performing huddles for our team to update agents with the latest forecast and changes on our account that needs to be done.
RCN High Speed Internet
We took in calls for customers interested to apply for a student loan. I am part of the Originations team which deals with customers inquiring about loans that they can avail from the institution. We offer the caller first the lowest or no interest loans which is being offered by the government. Once customer, was able to make use of the said loan,we offer the private loan that requires a credit check for students or also parents.

I worked with Tribune and was assigned to its two line of business which is called Orlando Sentinel and Sun Sentinel. We assist customers calling about the newspaper subscriptions. Our job includes helping them regarding missed deliveries, new subscriptions, payment, cancelling, and even retention.

On this part of the training,instead of me being trained, I helped my trainer instead. Because I was already technically inclined ever since I was 13 years old. And to add up, I also took up Bachelor of Science in Computer Science prior taking this training.
