PORTFOLIO 2020
This portfolio is a cumulative collection of work done within a span of 3 years of my ongoing graphic design study. It consists of projects that are well curated, well crafted and in line with the current design trends. It has everything that defines a graphic designer. It has a style in it's own and is served with a dash of humor to make that smile out of you when you finally register it. There are places where I have played tongue n' cheek just to make the conversation interesting. But, what's the point if I don't describe the projects I have done. It ranges from branding to illustration, publication design to info-graphics and game design to calendar design.
About Me
I am a 3rd year graphic design student but I would like people to address me as a Communication designer as I don’t want to get stuck onto one single thing rather explore the plethora of subjects and topics that communication or design as a whole has to offer. Most of the work that I do is totally intuitional and often derived from daily chores or something that I happened to experience in the past. Also, I try inculcate the essence of rich cultural and traditional Indian values into my work so that atleast there’s a certain hint of ‘indianness’ in it and doesn’t look or act like an NRI. Never mind that joke. But, I feel jokes are important as I believe, the best ideas comes to you in the form of jokes and being a comic, I love to make people laugh and that is something that I have adopted in my design work as well. I make use of a lot of wits and humour in my work that makes the viewer or the end user laugh the same way I made you laugh. And lastly, I’m a Bengali, because my parents happened to be so but, if I am ever given a choice, I would rather prefer a rasgulla over a ‘rossogolla’.
