Rukma Chary is a post graduate in Computer and has over 7+ years of experience in IT industry in the field of IT infrastructure Security and Service Management with top MNCs. His specific areas of expertise include conducting VA/PT, Risk Assessments, establishing and implementing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). His current focus is on development and co-ordination for implementation of IT security related Polices Standards and Procedures relating to cyber-security controls, applications, networks, operating system etc. Participated in developing and reviewing IT Security Policies standards and procedures in coordination with the office of the CISO. Conducting effective and professional liaison with Senior Management and Line of business personnel. With Deloitte's Audit and Enterprise Risk division, he executed CobIT based IT audit procedures for SOX readiness and re-performance for US Clients. He has gained specialization in using CobIT controls in the area of ITGC control and BCC reviews for various IT Platforms and other process related to AI6, DS1, DS3, DS4, DS5, DS8, DS9, DS10, DS11, DS13 and PO3 COBIT areas. He has experience of working for major Pharmacy and Banking Finance customers in USA in IT Security processes and management. Before joining Deloitte, he was with NII Consulting as Security Consultant. He is expertise in overall Network Security Assessment, including remediation reports to improve Client’s Network setup. As a part of ISMS implementation performed VAPT and RTP to assess and mitigate the client’s IT security risk. As Sr. IT Security analyst with IBM he has performed compliance checks to ensure all non-compliant issues with respect to IBM Standards (ITCS104 and GSD331) are identified and mitigated across US, UK and Sweden for IBM Client. He also had very successful stint, as a Network administrator handling routers, firewalls and OS platforms and ensuring compliance to company’s ISMS policies and procedures. Rukma was a speaker at Cyber Safe Tamilnadu-2009 conducted by NASSCOM and DSCI Rukma Chary also holds Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Laws and with certification such as CISM CEH CHFI BS7799 LI ITIL Foundation CCNA e-DAST from CMC.
