This is a raw demo reel for Concept Gizmo's 3D soon to be released iOS mobile app. The app is a 3D augmented reality historical guide for Lowell, MA. Your iPhone becomes a time machine that will allow visitors to Lowell's national historical park experience the civil war, the industrial revolution and modern day Lowell. We created the project towards enriching youth involvement in our community. The unique aspect of this project beyond the technology is the social capital created as we enter underprivileged neighborhoods with our high powered laptops. We began teaching the next generation of Americans new skills for tomorrow by teaching them the past.
