Presently Nissan is treating the getting introduction to clients from associated enterprises as a business activity, and from among the 800 odd associated enterprises, around 100 enterprises use a network to carryout processing of such introductions. The other enterprises (around 700) use paper (faxes etc.) for their introductions. In the current online work process, MS Access is used, and fixed length sending files that contain the introduction information are generated, and the information is sent using computers. The operator manually sets the host computer header. CMS application provides templates developed using Vignette V7 to manage content (i.e. upload content, versioning, page creation, site creation, channel creation, work-flow etc). CDA application provides services of Delivering the content through staging using Content Delivery Templates. Nissan conducts surveys to get the customer feedback about different automobile modals. Different dealers of Nissan will participate in these surveys. Nissan wants to develop an application, which provides a wizard for the NML admin users to create and modify the questionnaires for these surveys. These questionnaires once created should be available over the Internet for the dealers to answer. All these responses have to be captures in the database. Also NML admin user should able to generate reports to analyze the dealer responses. It is an online pricing calculation, trading transactions, report generation. Basically this site contains two types of users. Internal users will enter/edit/delete the cost of the commodities, freight cost etc. External users from the companies will place the order, display price list, find the goods position. To allow customers to undertake e-trading with OLAM International, besides normal trading, this would allow maximum flexibility and a better service to the customers. To integrate the B2B online service with the existing OPS (Order Processing System), and Oracle Financial (leverage existing back office systems). Project LINE Order Visibility Client LINE, Hong Kong Consultant Planetasia Duration Jan 2002 – Nov 2002. Role Team Member Contribution • Development (coding) Packing List module. Packing list module contains sub modules called Header, Line and Carton, which are developed separately and integrated to create one packing list. Module Description: Packing List is a document prepared by the shipper (factory) listing the kinds and quantities of merchandise in a particular shipment. A copy is usually sent to the consignee to assist in checking the received shipment. Packing list contains different parts such as HEADER, LINE, and CARTON INFO etc. Using templates generates all the forms related to this document. These documents are circulated to users and user companies based on the rights. Also these documents can be downloaded or printed using Jreports.
