Project: Development of the Android Application of BJ's restaurant Description: The Android app for the BJ's restaurant will help its customers to order foods. He can select different menus from a predefined set of food items. There are three modes like Dine In, Pick Up or Curb Side and user can set the party size for his order. The app was basically a sophisticated REST client. Responsibilities: Setting up the SVN repository and initial commit Training the team members on how to merge and commit Suggesting different tools like Subclipse, WinMerge, etc. Researching and suggesting different technologies for better performance of the app. Building sample project to implement those technologies. Some of the suggestions were using Volley framework/Picasso/Universal Image Loader for loading images from the server Hands on coding for some of the modules like Login Page and suggesting a standard way for different aspects of android programming like how to develop modules which are using Asynctask Helping and guiding the team members in different technical issues they face while development Responsible for sending the weekly build to QA team and preparing Release Notes for the same Allocating works to team members after a discussion with them Recording the screen cast of the application at different stages of development and sending it to the client Environment: Eclipse, Android 4.0 & above, SVN
