Auto Silent
There are a few existing systems in the market: Silencer: the application automatically puts the mobile phone on the silent mode and switches over to the normal mode, during the lecture timings of the students. Here! Hush: is a profile app that makes it easy to designate locations where mobile device has to be silent. In the Silencer application, the timings have to be given and the phone will change its profile automatically. But then if the time of class changes then the user has to again set them, hence the need arises for a phone which smartly accesses the location (e.g. classroom) and then switches the profile to silent automatically. In the Here! Hush application the locations can be designated where the phone’s profile changes automatically. If the user is driving a vehicle then he usually does not want to be disturbed by incoming calls on the road. Hence an app was needed to put the phone on silent mode while the user is driving at more than a speed of his choice.
