I am an embedded systems engineer with a UK MEng (Master of Engineering) degree in Computer Science with Embedded Systems Engineering from the University of York. I have experience with Microchip (formerly Atmel) MCUs and SOCs, both 32 bit and 8 bit, Xilinx FPGA development using Vivado HLS, plus various development boards (e.g. Arduino). I am a competent programmer in C, C++, Python as well as other non-embedded languages such as C#. While I'm primarily a firmware engineer, I also have experience designing and developing prototype PCBs from conception through to a fully working prototype.
