Sonangol London 30 Year Anniversary Report Working with the African oil company, Sonangol a special promotional report was art directed and designed to celebrate thirty years of business in the UK. The final book required a bespoke dust jacket with a cut-out ’30′.

Hi! My name is Tony Hill and I am 'freelance graphic designer in London'. Whilst most of that statement is true, and plenty of high quality freelance graphic design and art direction is being produced, since December 2012, my wife and I have been on a perpetual slow-journey across the world. We have created design studios in places like Penang, Malaysia, the Sahara Desert in Morocco, and continued to hit deadline after deadline for our clients based across the world. Our journey has also had the nice economic effect that come from the reduced living costs and we are able to pass the savings from this onto our clients. It is a double bonus: we can keep prices down, and allow more time and space for new projects. A bit of history about my past: Since finishing at Central Saint Martins in 2002, I have gained over ten years industry experience in a wide range of businesses - from blue chip corporations to small start-ups via well-established studios. I have worked in design agencies, marketing spaces, advertising companies and magazine houses. I come from a family of print and design. At three days old I was in the family print factory and grew up playing with lead type and had a cot made to store paper! I set up my first commercial design business in 1988, at the age of nine years old. This dates back to the days when Apple produced computers with 2 megabytes of RAM and 20 megabyte hard-drives! ____________________________ Things have changed over my life in design and I continue to add new skills to my knowledge base: Fully experienced in the main design packages: Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe Indesign Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Adobe Acrobat Quark Xpress Keynote Powerpoint Additionally I will use many other programs to complete jobs on an individual basis. This may include Adobe After Effects, Word / Office Suite and smaller apps as required.
