My Magento experience started more than five years ago with working as a developer in aheadWorks Co., the biggest Magento extension development company, where I've developed (from scratch or with major version upgrade with deep code refactoring) 8 of their popular Magento extensions. On May 2010, after a year of work, I left aheadWorks, and since then work self-employed. I've done a lot of interesting projects based on Magento, including several very serious ones implementing core functionality changes and deep integration into other systems, dealing with dozens of thousands of products, customers, and orders in a single database. I specialize namely on this system as it is really great platform able to fit any e-commerce needs from both seller and programmer's point. My hourly rate may look pretty high being compared to other cheaper developers' rates, but the speed of the work and the quality of the code I produce make the QA and bugfixing stages much shorter, so the total cost of development gets really lower. The level of professionalism I have allows me to bring the outstanding quality work to my employers with quite reasonable charge.
