Calculator Using 8052 Microcontroller
The objective of our project was to make a Calculator using 8052 microcontroller that implements the functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and displays the result. The Code for this project was written using C language and it was compiled and ran in Keil uvision and Proteus. A Keypad (4x4) is used to take the input digits and operators from the user and LCD (16x2) is used to display the input and also the result. The program waits indefinitely for a key press. When a key press is detected, it is checked to see if it corresponds to a numeric value or arithmetic operation or the equal key. The result is then formatted and sent to be displayed on the LCD. The code was assembled and was also run on ISIS Proteus circuit to ensure the proper functioning of addition, multiplication, subtraction and division operations. It was then burned onto 8052 and tested with hardware setup of LCD and Keypad interfaced with 8052.
