Graphic Designer & Illustrator

I currently have a part time Freelancing company called Christina Marie Design, LLC and I work part time as a buyer and technical illustrator for government services. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Digital Media from the University of North Florida in 2021. I started my creative journey at a young age, and have since developed that love into Graphic Art, Illustration and Photography. I enjoy working on branding and logo design, packaging and label design, photo editing, and illustrative projects.

The crude and distorted representation of type and message within this poster is meant to be an interpretation of the unsettling tension we have in this country about our rights as citizens. Many Americans feel bitterness, anger, and pure vitriol energy against many of the systems of government within the United States. I wanted to showcase this frustration and rage within our society, through the visual appearance of the poster. Our voices all deserve to be heard and I hope that this poster helps to empower people to stand up for themselves and each other. I also hope that it shows Americans that we stand together. We are the voice. We are the message. We are the people.

Experimental Poster Design

These posters highlight three early 80s women’s punk rock icons: Pat Benatar, Cyndi Lauper, and Joan Jett. Paying homage to three of the many women who decided to push past heavy societal expectations so that they could prove to themselves and the world that women could be equally badass musicians; not just the muse. Even though the women’s movement started in the 60’s and 70’s, and punk sometime before, the women of the 70's and 80’s still found it difficult to stand and be seen as credible in male dominated music, especially punk rock. DIY culture sprang out of Punk rock naturally as a means of expression without boundaries and creating art without permission or perfection. The style of these posters are meant to emulate a fanzine cover. Fanzines and music posters of the time were often created crudely with roughly copied and printed images and scrap materials. Art created without rules is unfiltered; a balance between vitriol expression and a visual riot.

80's Women of Punk Rock

I created this graphic for a Prepress Tshirt design project at UNF. Our assignment was to create a t-shirt design based on Mythical Creatures. I decided to make my Genie's beard look like oil as he emerged from the oil lamp. These are several combinations.

This is a project I did for an Illustration class at UNF. We needed to illustrate four travel posters from the same area. I chose Michigan and decided to have each poster correspond to the time of day. Sunrise, Midday, Sunset, and Evening.
