About Me
Currently New York based, Yin-Han Zoe Yang, aka YEOZ, comes from Tainan, Taiwan. During her years in the West Coast, Zoe collaborated with various directors and production teams of films, ads, and animations. After moving to New York, she decided to take a leap of faith by collaborating with choreographers globally, such as LaneCoAarts, InTW (Taiwan), Y+Y (Germany, Japan), and Cross Move Lab (China). Thus, her music pieces were also performed at numerous venues such as Salvatore Capezio Theater, Queens Museum, NYU Tisch in New York, and Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taiwan. For Zoe, nature, observation, and life experiences are where the sounds and ideas are; therefore, she emphasizes ambience in music pieces. In other words, "sound is another form of music." Thus, you hear not the orchestral rules but simple consonance in Zoe's pieces that create scenes.
