This is for a research on quality of life of people with Down's syndrome. Part of this research is to see how their parents or caregivers perceive the language used in the medical setting. In the past, language used in English has been well studied. However, the language in Cantonese has not been studied before. This article is about the perspective of parents and caregivers on sensitive language used in Hong Kong. I am the first author of this article.
