My company didn’t begin, as the tech-startup stereotype goes, in a garage. Instead, it bloomed in the desert. In 2001 AMCO IT Systems teamed up in Lahore, Pakistan, the home of their first customer, Vital Management Systems, to develop a Payroll System—and from there, it was born.
