  maybe give it a black background with 50-60% opacity (that fades towards the bottom, for instance) so that the logo shows up when used on images.

  I really like this design. even though its not what i was initially looking for, i like it! i can easily see this becoming the display picture of my facebook page.
  
  the logo (with the transparent background) can also perhaps be used as a watermark on images.
  
  can you also make another version of this. look at the jpegs ive attached with the project. add something like that to the top of the text (especially the second one)
