I am building a company called Landholder(.)com and I would like to create a logo for it that positions it for commercial success.
I want a logo that would be creative enough for a internet startup (like how Freelancer.com or Flippa.com is) yet conservative enough for the real estate industry (Think about Investopedia.com or realtor.com's logo).
I would prefer that the logo does not have the ".com" in it so just "Landholder" but I would be open to seeing .com as part of the logo too.
I would like it be unique in that its design so that the symbols you use are not present anywhere else.
So ideally, it'd just be a "Landholder" plus a symbol or something, no catch phrase or anything. My business is going to be in the real estate investing sphere to give you an idea for symbols. We emphasize safety, transparency, 'coolness' & profitability if that helps you coordinate your color scheme, fonts, etc.

Thanks! I like #56 and #51 because of the cleanness of them but I do NOT want any house symbols on them. I like the color font of #50 but not the symbols on it.

Ideally, implementing a handshake (like in #51) or a hand holding up a farm or something (similar to #47) in the symbol but I want it simple but powerful. I like the gold/gray/black/white color scheme

Thanks everyone for their entries so far! I like a few of them but I am not in love with any one yet. To give you a better idea of what I am looking for, I like the design of #13, #16, & #3 in their fonts, colors, trying to implement 'land' into it. That said, I want to specify that I would prefer not to see a house in the logo as my startup is all about land itself, not houses or anything. So maybe a farm symbol or something similar might be good? Trying to implement the symbols into the letters could look good too.

I want it to be crisp and clean but I don't mind if you use a little color. Also, I want it to look 'powerful' from the standpoint of someone looking at it.
