Síntese do concurso

I need a logo for my production company. We make videos, short films as well as run training courses, just a company in the entertainment business.
At the moment we are just using one we mocked up (attached) but would love a better one. It will eventually be animated as well for in front of our films/videos. The company is called "Camacal" which is a play on words between my name and the animal "Caracal", which is a solitary African cat. They are independent and have distinctive ears which the past logo played on and we were thinking would be good to incorporate although happy to see what is created.
We'd like something classic in style, nothing super modern or anything that looks like a retail product or childlike service business.

To clarify, I'd like it historical looking, more old fashioned and with a play to do with the cat. Cute is ok with the caracal if it suit but looking for ideas and an inspired design.
