We run a suite of web sites and this is the first of a number of design projects we have. Through this process we are hoping to develop a relationship with a designer we feel can capture the look and feel we are after.

The Brand - 24 Hour T-shirts
24 Hour T-shirts was established in 1993 offering screen printed t-shirts in 24 hours or they were free. Now in its 20th year of trading, it is time for a logo update.

The brief:

What we do:
We offer custom screen printed t-shirts to all kinds of customers for all kinds of uses. Promotional t-shirts for corporations, casual uniform t-shirts for small businesses, fun t-shirts for social groups, logoed t-shirts for charity fund raising, team and sport printed t-shirts for sporting clubs and teams.

The message we want our Logo and colours to send to our customers:
Welcoming. We genuinely believe in good old fashioned customer service, while we embrace the web, we want our customers to feel their contact by phone or email is welcomed.

Male & Female Friendly. The business is run my 2 male partners and we tend to design what we like. We want our look and feel to be balanced so it appeals to men and women alike.

Clean & Crisp. We want an uncluttered, clean look that will work well on the web.

Retro. If it is possible we want a modern retro look. That seems like a contradiction in terms but we believe a retro look is a good reflection of who we are and can inspire trust in us. Done right a modern logo with retro overtones could sit well. I have included some links to sites we really like where we feel are along the same lines as this.

Creative. We are in the creative business so a logo, look and feel which had a bit of a design edge would work well.

Enduring. We are not looking for the latest buzz look. We want a look we can stay with and build on.

Authentic. T-shirt screen printing is as ingrained in western culture as blue denim jeans and we would like our look and feel to look as part of that culture.

If we can use your entry, we guarantee to award the $250 to you and give you first option on our next projects which include helping us with the look and feel of the web site.
