I need a logo that is simple but conveys what we do. As the name states: Cows.

Now, this may take a little explanation because to cattle people, "cows" is very specific. COW is a female bovine (that has had a calf, but we aren't going to get overly technical here). So, our ranch produces FEMALES.

Another point about our ranch: We are very into conservation, using resources efficiently and not depleting them--sustainable. We are grass fed and very centered on how efficient our cattle are on grass.

Our cattle are black.

Our beef is lean, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and in some (critical) opinions is the "best beef ever." (Beef is actually a by product for us, as our main purpose is producing FEMALE BOVINES THAT ARE SUPER-EFFICIENT [FAT] ON GRASS.

I have attached some pictures of some of our "girls"....fat cows (all on grass, all natural, no hormones, no grain, no chemicals, nothing artificial).

Logo will be used on business cards, vehicle decals and magnets, stationary, banner advertising for the internet, etc.

Rules: Simple (don't use the photos, I would prefer something that could be drawn by hand), can either use the Cow Cow Ranch or initials CCR, must convey "natural" or "organic" (but cannot SAY "organic"), "green," "sustainable." Ranch colors are black (like the cows), green (like the grass), and I like gold, but silver has seemed to be what we end up with....but I still like gold (bright yellow?).

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

UPDATE: Thank you for all the entries!! Some of you are really understanding the type of cattle we have and need pictured on the logo (some are not getting it). MAJOR POINT: This logo is going to be used in vinyl....for decals on trucks, etc. It must be SIMPLE!!! Simple as in not a giant amount of detail, and a single color (maybe 2 colors?).

I would like to see something with the CCR that I like more. Maybe something that makes the C look like a cow head and a tail coming off the S? I like gold, yes.
