    Yes, of course, I am totally in favor of the shaftless design, and it is true that the sliding gate is not very optimal, especially if it is going to be used in an 8-cylinder intake, I am already working on one of the solutions, but It gives me a bit of concern to publish and that others take my idea since this type of TB designs are a very well kept secret by the manufacturers

    other similar designs keep the body in one piece and divide the blade axis into two pieces in which the blade rests on each side, it is a somewhat more optimal design, but implies greater complexity in manufacturing and assembly due to its greater number of moving parts, if you have a preference for any of the two options let me know

      The idea of one piece blade and shaft is to optimize air flow. There is quite the difference between the designs, around 10% in airflow advantage to the one piece design. Another design could be Flat Slide Throttle Bodies but we are not sure we could get idle quality and adjustment with that type of design.

    Hi, I was referring to the mounting holes that go around the intake, on the other hand I was investigating and the only possible way to keep the blade in one piece with the pivot shaft is to divide the body into two bolted pieces, that is not it would have many complications and would retain the aerodynamic advantages of the mid-shaftless design

    Ok I understand, I have no problem with delivering the part files, what if I need to know is the separation that the mounting holes must have from the manifold and what their diameter would be

      The bottom part of the "sandwich" that makes up the TB will be part of the manifold we CNC out of aluminum. The hole has a diameter of 60mm. See word file for more info. Hope that answers your question.

      Sounds good, please note 2d or 3d pictures is worthless for us. We need the STEP file to be able to fabricate the TB. Meaning the best design will be purchased by us. We have pretty good ideas our selfs but we look for innovative designs and CAD designers. Good luck and please get back with sketches and we will give you feedback.
