Síntese do concurso

This logo will represent a charity fundraising event for Prostate Cancer. The idea behind the event is simply to raise awareness of this disease and to hopefully, save lives.
My idea is that the logo will contain key elements which will make it easily identifiable such that it can become a recognisable brand.
1. The Prost8 Challenge signifies that the event will take place over 8 miles.
2. The Challenge can be undertaken by anyone and is to be completed by either walking, running or cycling.
3. The PROST8 element must be the focal point of the logo, with the O in PROST being drawn as the symbol for men and perhaps with a different graphic to identify that this disease impacts only men.
4. The 8 should be done like a racetrack with a clear overlap as this will signify the challenge itself and that the battle against cancer is infinite. The 8 as a racetrack, lends itself to be an infinity symbol rotated through 90 degrees.
5. The principal colours should be blue and white, as the plan is to align this event with the Prostate Cancer charity in the UK and these colours are used by them.
I have provided a hand drawn graphic of what I imagine this will look like and apologise in advance for the poor quality of my work, but this is why I need professional help :)
I’d like to have something to submit by the end of October.
