I need someone to illustrate my children's book, Lemon Armadillo. There will be 20 illustrations in total. I have already basically designed all of the artwork so just need someone to draw it/illustrate it in higher quality. For this contest please submit one or more entries based on the images I have uploaded. I will choose one illustrator who will then need to complete all 20 illustrations. I will send you my drafts for all of them. I will pay 35,000 yen once all have been completed. Feel free to ask questions.

**Note: if you illustrate the cover for this contest, please add "Lemon Armadillo by Brett Nelson" at the bottom

Book details: Lemon is an armadillo from the South West of the United States (the Sonoran Desert, in my mind, though armadillos are widespread). He is bright yellow, like a lemon, young, perhaps the same as a 7-8 years old human child, and he always travels with his red backpack. Again, there will be 20 illustrations in total. The target age for this book is 4-8, so the illustrations have to be simple, colorful, and cute.

I need illustrations only so you can ignore the text in my copies except for the cover or if it is a comment from Lemon. The final page size will be 6" by 9" (inches) or roughly 153 x 229 mm, with an inner margin of .5 inches or around 13 mm. No other margins are necessary.

I will provide clear explanations of each drawing if it is not easily understood from the text. If you have any ideas for improvement please let me know!

Hi Everyone, thank you for all the great submissions! Just in case it wasn't clear, Lemon is a young boy Armadillo, maybe the same as a 7-8 year old human child. He goes on many adventures with his desert friends, loves looking for rocks, especially agates, and he is definitely yellow!
