Looking for concept images for a prototype of a card game involving islands.

The game has 9 playing cards with images on both sides. The theme of the game is tied to an island archipelago in a fantasy world. Once side of each of the cards will display a picture of one of the islands from the archipelago. The island names (and suggested - but not required image contents) are:
1. Hook Harbor Island
2. Crab Island (crab inhabited coastline)
3. Palm Island (tropical palm trees)
4. Stone Pillar (tall stone column, i.e the islands around Phuket, Thailand)
5. Lookout Island (lighthouse)
6. Windpeak Island (birds nesting on sides of cliffs)
7. Lone Tree Island (one giant tree grows on the island)
8. Mater's Eye Island (hole in the rock)
9. White Shore Island (white sandy beaches, pebbles)

This initial effort is to prototype the card layout and agree on the image styles. Any style may be submitted, but two have been suggested: "vintage woodblock Asian" (see "The Great Wave" for example), and vintage tourist posters. (see attached as examples). The world is a "fantasy" board/card game so creating a feel in the images that encourage immersion in that fantastic world are encouraged.

Looking for examples of one or two of the islands in each style. Image dimensions should scale to 3.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches high (sideways playing card) The name of the island should always appear in the same location somewhere in the image. See attached image for and example of a pretty typical trading card game format/layout (with the card name at the top, and game text in a box at the bottom of the card).

Feedback from the game designer:
He envisioned a wild environment in the images, so no industry or man-made structures, other than ruins or something ancient.

    so in the end, you picked an entry that is outside the scope of your contest. neither does it fit the styles you asked nor does it fit any of the island descriptions...

    Thank you all for your entries. Some of these are really fantastic. I will speak to the game designer and he and I will determine a winner. We should be able to talk things through and agree on a direction for the card look & feel fairly quickly. I'll post the winner here in the next few days.

      I liked the antique Asian woodblock feel of The Great Wave. However, we are open to any creative direction. We'd like to see examples of a card in one or two different styles so we can make a decision on the direction for all the cards in the game.

    Hi there. I'm sorry, it's not clear to me after reading the brief if what you are looking for is to get that "initial effort" done, so basically a couple prototypes. Or if you are looking for the winner to come up with all 9 cards designs.
    If it's the 9 cards designs the price seems to low to me, and I would recommend you to increase it in order to get quality entries.

      The goal here is to choose a style direction. We don't want to do all 9 cards if we end up not liking the style of the image or layout.
