Thanks all for your submissions so far. Very much appreciated.

There are many submissions which have covered the requirements in a fashion that is visually pleasing and has addressed most of the four key themes. The key themes 1 and 4 are still not being addressed in a complete and relevant fashion.
What is preventing an entry from getting 5 stars at the moment is the lack of creativity in offering a logo which neatly packages the four key themes and is visually appealing (colors, fonts, icon sets, placement of items in the logo etc).
Most of the recent entries, bar a small few, have been tweaks on the same visual concept, instead of a fresher look at the requirements.
I think the four star entries and a few of the three star entries are definitely very close to getting 5 stars (and winning the contest) if the above points are articulated in a new submission.

I don't need a generic logo that is not descriptive.

As I have stated below I NEED THE LOGO TO DESCRIBE OUR PRODUCT/SERVICE, as per the details below.

I need a logo for an app. The app is called Treyndr

Features of the app are
- connects people who know each other for the purpose of asking for insights, recommendations, suggestions, advice, answers to SPECIFIC questions they have.
- the people answering will be specialised in that field, eg - question about best places to go eat in East London might be answered by someone you know directly (or indirectly) that lives in or around East London.
- the responding person may or may not know who is posing the question. They only know that they are in their network.
- the difference between this app and Google, Quora etc is that you are getting feedback, suggestions, recommendations from people you know directly or indirectly as opposed to strangers on the internet and so you trust their responses more.

The KEY THEMES of the logo have to be
- Logo has to be Descriptive. Since this is a startup, the logo has to provide some information about the service offered by the app.
- This information has to be provided in the logo Graphically, not via Text.
- KEY THEMES/WORDS that should come to mind for an observer of the logo have to be
1. Specialised/Bespoke service that can be discreet,
2. Connecting people you know,
3. Feedback, suggestions, recommendations, answers from people you know and trust
4. Trust in the responses is higher. (than just a generic google search result or answers on Quora/Ask.com etc.)

What I DON'T want the logo to have
- generic messaging or people graphics that applies more to a messaging, communications app like whatsapp etc
- inability for a viewer to understand most of the points in the key themes above.
- complicated design. Keep the design simple, effective and to the point.

Deliverables
1. At least 3 initial designs to choose from.
2. Full vector files so I can modify the design later, if required.
3. Artwork/Sketch work, if applicable, so I can modify the design later, if required.
4. Source files, psd, ai etc as applicable.

    Thanks everyone for the amazing submissions so far. There are quite a few with 5 stars now.
    My suggestion at this point is to submit a fresh entry with a fresh look at the concept (as some of you have done recently) and not to keep making minor changes to the existing 5 star submissions, as I will intend to do this with the winning entry.
    I will be choosing a winner from the 5 star entries.
    That said, all designers of the 5 star and some of the 4 star entries, absolutely deserve to win the contest.
    This has been a difficult concept to create a Logo for and I am very appreciative of all of your efforts so far.
    I will be definitely looking you up (if you don't win the contest) for design work in the future.

    Entries rated 3 stars and higher have managed to bring some/most but not all of the elements I have asked for in my Project Brief.
    To emphasize again, these elements are,
    1. Specialised/Bespoke service that can be discreet,
    2. Connecting people you know,
    3. Feedback, suggestions, recommendations, answers from people you know and trust
    4. Trust in the responses is higher. (than just a generic google search result or answers on Quora/Ask.com etc.)
