Thanks to all who participated in this contest. We have narrowed the field to five finalists whose entries will be voted upon by our "Founding Families". Those finalists have all been notified. We will no longer be reviewing new submissions. Your response was overwhelming and very much appreciated.

We need an epic logo for our new business --My Baby's Family...where brave love meets open arms (www.MyBabysFamily.com). It's an adoption web site where expectant parents considering adoption can view the profiles of families-in-waiting for a baby to adopt. This is a for-profit venture affiliated with a non-profit organization called In Business For Life (www.InBusinessForLife.org).

ALL ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE THE TAGLINE "WHERE BRAVE HEARTS MEET OPEN ARMS" AND SHOULD ATTEMPT TO DEPICT THE MEANING OF THIS TAGLINE IN THE GRAPHICS. PREGNANT WOMEN IMAGES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. DESIGNS THAT APPEAR TO COPY OTHER ENTRIES WILL BE REJECTED.

Since our site is under construction, we can't show it to you. But you can get a very good idea of what we're building by viewing these similar sites: parentfinder.com, adoption.com, adoptomist.com, Bethany.org, adoptlist.com

Some of the words that we would like the logo to help our target audience (expectant parents and waiting families) to associate with our company are compassion, love, transparency, integrity, trustworthy, kind, patient, hope, understanding, caring, moral, ethical, passionate, purposeful, life, goodness.

Thanks for all of the entries. This is only my second FL contest and I've learned quite a bit. I'll do things a bit differently next time. With 6 days to go, the contest is now sealed. Any connection to the logo for the affiliated entity In Business For Life has been removed, as have those logo files. If your entry received 3 stars or less, you should consider a new design if you want to remain in the contest. Simply modifying the original will not likely move you into contention. We need a few days to share our finalists entries with our stakeholders so they can vote. So, please have your entries in by 5pm EST on Sunday, November 12 to be considered. Thank you for all of your hard work!

Thank you for your submissions thus far. As you consider additional or first time submissions, please follow these guidelines: 1) Only designs with the "pregnant B" element will be considered (files attached); 2) Do not use MBF...we want My Baby's Family spelled out; 3) Avoid overly complex and heavy design elements; 4) Do not use baby design elements; 5) You must use the tagline "Where brave love meets open arms". Consider design elements that represent that tagline; 6) Do not make it look like the In Business For Life logo. I showed you that only to show you how the "pregnant B" element fit in.
