PB&J Distribution; About Us.

PB&J Distribution is a new E-commerce company based out of Charlotte, NC.

Currently, access to our merchandise is only available through our EBay store. We have plans to expand to other already-established online stores in the next couple of months.

Our inventory is presently concentrated in the Health & Beauty market, with a smaller footprint in the Consumer Electronics field. Growth is expected in both of these categories, and plans are in the works to launch a fashion boutique. (This will DBA a separate company name, with its own unique line of branding to come.)

The skin-deep story behind PB&J as our company name is a reference to the ease & reliability to consumer experiences, customer satisfaction, and consistent reliability. We want things to return to “Easy”, without the customer having to sacrifice quality nor a bargain.

The deeper meaning behind the choice in company name pertains to our belief in an overall management philosophy... “Teach an alien how to make a Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich”. Allow me to explain...

This is a method of teaching managers HOW to train their employees. It speaks to the depths of explanation & training steps a manager must dive to in order to ensure full & complete comprehension by their trainee.

The following is a practice we follow in how we have trained our managers to train their employees...

Us: “Take us through the steps you would take while training an Alien to make a Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich. Pretend I am the Alien, and you are to teach me how to make a PB&J.”

Manager: “OK no problem. First, I would tell you to grab two pieces of bread...”

Us (Interrupting): “... wait- what is bread?? I’ve never heard of that before.”

Manager: “Ah, right. You’re an Alien. Well, bread is something that we make out of flour and...”

Us (Interrupting): “... wait- what is flour?”

Manager: “...”

And therein lies the lesson. Intricate steps and complete comprehension is ESSENTIAL to setting up someone for SUCCESS!

We are looking for a logo that will represent the ease & reliability of the old American classic, externally.

Internally, we need it to remind all of us about our responsibility to be thorough and comprehensive during every step towards success.

Please keep in mind... in the near future this will eventually be the parent company to at least 2 other smaller companies (and separate brands). That said, we admire simplicity; as long as it is memorable & catches the eye!
