Hello Freelancers.

As the project is titled, we need our logo cleaned up and redesigned. I HAVE ATTACHED A COPY OF OUR EXISTING LOGO.

We need the basic idea of the logo to remain which is the silhouette/bust/outline of “George Washington” however we would like it freshened up to be more attractive or modern.

We have 3 basic requirements:

1. We like the blue and white color scheme but the blue should be lightened a bit. Think the shade of blue in the “Google logo”.

2. Please do not use shading. It does not work well when using the logo on stationary/letterhead etc.

3. As I said we require the outline/silhouette to remain as “George Washington” but the graphic needs to be updated to be more modern or relevant or whimsical while remaining elegant and professional.

**Possibly something with visible brush strokes that makes an outline or silhouette still visible but a little "artsy" or unique. The solid silhouette is something we are wanting to change.**

Beyond those basic requirements we are open to any ideas or designs so please feel free to be creative!

The first several entries were the exact same silhouette as our existing logo therefore were deleted. We want something that preserves a likeness of him but is modern and different.
