I want creative suggestions for upgrading our banner. Since different designers have different taste, I wanted to give this a try since I don't have exact instructions. Show one or two banners here in this competition and the best one wins.

I like the first dark banner in the rotation, so no need to change that one.
The other ones (need only 2) needs some love: Change background, foreground and the green "checked"-icon.

The options from admin-area is pretty limited and I have attached what you can change from it: It is background-image and one "foreground"-image (and the green checked-image). In addition to having from 3 to 8 lines of text as you see example of in the current banners on our website:

1. So this work include both these two slide-images AND possible some css adjustments (depending on what you make out of it). If you do something that is not supported in the attached screen (so that I actually have to go into css and adjust) - you must promise to do the css-change or tell me exactly what to put in what css-file. One advantage of this banner-system is that the text is in html and I want to keep it that way. If you change the banner-system, you must also implement it for me and keep some text the same way.

2. Change the main-image on the front-page - the one with a women and some men. I like the feel of that image and want something realistic. Bee creative. You can use a image from iStockPhoto and I will pay for it, but it has to fit in nice. Only image sent to me, no css-change needed.

Our website is about promoting our specialized hosting for WordPress - BIG big pluss if you can make something that connect to that in a discrete manner.

You do not need to keep all the text in the slides today. It is enough with 3-4 per image, but it is very ok to have it like 7.

PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT like many colors, the website already have to much I feel. At top one or two colors, max. I don't think I like the green color in the banner, it makes to big attention and I would rather have that in more discrete/gray/faded way somehow.

Btw, the logo is just a template logo with wrong name. So don't use that in you creative process.

Competition is now closed and a winner has been declared. But for some reason, freelancer doesn't close the contest before it has run out.

One of the nice things about having text in html is SEO. Css can be edited to change the color of the text I think.

Hi, I think I understand what your want & I'll try to upload something soon. Do you get any options anywhere to specify the font & colour for the lines of text that appear? Alternatively, would it be possible to upload your css here onto the contest? Thanks.

I also notice you'd like to retain the flexibility of having the lines of text as editable by yourself - understandable. Have you considered just not using the text line feature & instead having the text on your background? You could potentially have many more possibilites, albeit you lose the effect of the text moving across the image. Perhaps if you were supplied a layered Photoshop file so you could edit the text from in there & save a new image if required?
