After praying about what a good logo would be for NewLife Church, I began to ask myself...what is the church really? For some reason God kept laying on my heart a quote by Jefferson Bethke, "Church isn't a Museum for the Good People, but a Hospital For the Broken" That is what I wanted to convey in this logo. I wanted people to really understand that when they walk into NewLife, NewLifers don't have it all together. They're just a bunch of imperfect, jacked up, messed up people...serving a perfect God. When they walk through those doors, they won't be looked at as unclean. Instead, they'll be loved, cared for and "nursed back to health"; Just like a hospital. The "Red Cross/Hospital" design will be sure to catch people's eyes and have them wondering what NewLife is all about! I hope you like this design as I truly feel it was given to me from God. Also, I honestly assumed another church would have already done a similar logo. But I have looked EVERYWHERE and cannot find another church that has done it...making it truly unique!
