This example file should be work on the esp8266 compiled with the arduino ide. [login to view URL] Requirements for this first step are a nodemcu esp8266 board. The main part is to convert the watchdog file from the Adafruit_SleepyDog library for an esp8266 modul. Test if the espmodul is running on the esp modul. This class has some Watchdog function for the avr, but not for the esp8266. If any other file from the library hast to be rewritten this is also your job.
