Ok I posted this project sometime ago and got a lot of responses but did not end up deciding on a development team. Please read this entire description before replying. Any automated replies that look like you did not read this in its entirety will be ignored. I am developing a series of websites that I want to be able to use the same backend for. I already own the names and have some site design complete but need a programmer or team to do the backend for the sites. I had someone who completed a good backend that would work perfectly but I can no longer get him to answer me and after many frustrating months am searching for someone else. The sites will be search portals for information on the various topics. The Caribbean will be the focus of the first site in development Caribbeansearch.com. I need someone who can develop a backend that can manage many categories and listings, keep track of banners and adds, provide a interface for users to create and use a password and user name to access personal information, have webpages available to advertisers to chart how many people they received from our site, let users rate each advertiser with a rating system and comments, and be flexible to incorporate new ideas when they come. I need an administrative section for the listings so each company can access and edit their listing in real time. I also need an administrative section for myself. I need to be able to compile a mailing list from each user that signs up for a free account. For each listing posted I need a way to take payments online incorporated into the site. I want all the listings to be able to be optimized for search engines easily so a feature that allows this is crucial. I need a forum system as well as the possibility to upgrade in the near future to taking actual bookings for small hotels etc. not in the huge directories on the site. This is no small project and I hate the fact that I have to start from scratch after waiting months and months for my past programmer to incorporate his backend into my site. I need a programmer or team that will be with me threw the long-term. This will be a constantly developing project and we are putting thousands of dollars into the advertising budget so we can not get stranded when we need to modify or add a feature to the back end in the future. I need an experienced team that has done this kind of work in the past and can show me a portfolio of highly professional sites that they have completed. I will need to be able to either view in person or online the development of the backend daily so I can make sure everything is in place that I need. If possible I would like to be able to meet with the developers in person. I will provide full details on the phone or by e-mail once a bid is placed or I am contacted.
