My first question is are you sure appmakr is defunct? It looks like they were only acquired by infinite monkeys. Perhaps you can still use their service or did they merge to another platform? Other than that if you're looking to be "taught" how to do this then you'd be looking to learn how to write native apps (since this is now outside of the appmakr framework). This in all likely hood will not be feasible. (since you opted for an "app builder" initially so assuming you aren't a "coder" per se) Are you at some point looking to rewrite this app? I'm asking because it currently uses some older libraries which are not maintained anymore (e.g. ASIHTTP). Also the app itself is burdened a bit by the "appmakr way of things" so you might consider biting the bullet and remaking as native app. of course this would be double the overhead since you have for ios and android. For me personally I would only be looking to do the iOS side of things. Also I wouldn't be looking to work with the existing codebase (i.e. would help out only if looking to rewrite app).
