Hi, we're a small device and software company trying to help allergy and asthma sufferers live better lives.
We have an angularjs 1.4 single page application that we need ported to the latest version of Angular (8.x). The resulting app shouldn't just be a functional port, but the resulting code should conform to modern Angular practices (data retrieval in a service class) and the code obviously must be moved to TypeScript; in other words, you should reasonably know what you're doing in modern Angular/Typescript.
It would also be nice to update to the latest Bootstrap. There are 23 controllers & pages, most of which are fairly simple, but one integrates a chart and another integrates a google map. The app hits a simple REST back-end, which is publicly accessible, so you don't need to worry about hosting it for testing. I've attached a few controllers with their pages as an example; a couple are among the most challenging.
Our expectation is that you will be able to work un-aided except for questions about functionality or the domain, but that you check in with us as you progress so we can course correct while it is easy.
I would expect an experienced Angular developer to be able to complete this in less than 20 hours, since the logic, HTML, and general layout is already developed against a steady back-end.
