I have a camera (Samsung NX5) on which I tried updating the firmware. I had read that the Samsung NX10 (next model up from mine) firmware was compatible so decided to use that. But somehow I downloaded the firmware for the Samsung NX11 (even further model up) and flashed it to my camera. Unfortunately, as it turns out, the NX11 firmware is most definitely not compatible with the NX5. I now have a camera which turns on and takes pictures, but shows nothing on the screen or the electronic viewfinder.
What I am looking for is somebody to find out which buttons to press to enable me to reflash the firmware back to NX5 or NX10 firmware. I need step-by-step instructions, for example; turn on camera, press menu button, press left 3 times, press ok, press right 4 times, press ok etc etc etc.
You will need to bear in mind that I can see nothing on the screen so each step will need to be spelled out in terms of buttons presses.
To clarify, the camera now thinks it is an NX11 so you need to find out the steps for that model.
