To me, Dating isn't just about two people meeting and hoping for a one night stand, it's about finding your soul-mate from between over 7 billion people sharing the same Earth.
Even thought it might seem impossible, but I still believe that for each of us, there exists ONE person who's truly right for him or her, one person whom you can spend the rest of your life with and only find happiness; should we depend on coincidence, we might not ever meet this person, not to mention engage into some romantic relationship with them, and that's what's truly great about dating, you meet one person in hopes of finding your "one".
Some people might call me old fashioned, but I still prefer not to use Online Dating apps, which's all about checking someone photos, which just feel pretty superficial to me, or just checking their interests, which can be easily faked, and then picking someone to date depending on them.
Even though dating might sound great and all, sometimes things don't end up the way you wanted them to, like finding yourself stuck with a person whom your friend matched you with, even though you just aren't into that person while he/she is totally into you!
